Bernard BOUTET DE MONVEL, Large set of photographs printed on paper and negatives, late 19th - early 20th century [More than 100 documents] Photographs on negative and printed on paper of Assisi in Italy, of various places in Paris including the Théâtre des Variétés, the secondhand booksellers on the quays of the Seine, the Halles Baltard, of horses and hunting parties, of the countryside near Nemours and its inhabitants, of haleurs on the banks of a canal (cf. Les haleurs, 1899, etching in color, coll. part, in p.47, ADDADE, Bernard Boutet de Monvel, 2001), the Nemours market and butcher's stalls (boucheries series, p.60-61, ADDADE, Bernard Boutet de Monvel, 2001), the "desert" (as mentioned on the envelope containing them). There are also a number of rolled-up photographs of his studio and family. Among these are shots of Halles Baltard and a peasant on a cart, his self-portrait in front of a mirror (p.100, ADDADE, Bernard Boutet de Monvel, 2001), various country houses, a road with "Père Boyer de face", churches and tree-lined paths. Bernard Boutet de Monvel's paintings and drawings, such as: "Le tombereau", 1911, colored etching, coll. part.
