Pair of ovoid ewers in cherry-red marble and gilt bronze. The handles surmounted by goats, the spouts applied with masks of Bacchus, the belly encircled by a frieze of putti in bas-relief, the quadrangular base with canted sides. Late 19th century. H. 53 cm. (Two goats' hooves slightly unscrewed at the spout, wear to the gilding).
