LARGE AMPHORA In bucchero nero, decorated on the molded body with a frieze of deer interspersed with oves in relief (impasto technique). Two side handles with smiling heads at the mouth. Long neck adorned with a cord molding in the center. Shoulder molded with egg-shaped motifs in relief. Terracotta. Etruscan art, late 8th century B.C. Origin: Chiusi (production site for impasto vases). Label from the 19th c. Height. 43 cm. Restored, foot reinforced. PROVENANCE. . Galerie Keramion, Paris, 2017. . Former German collection, 1960.
