MINIATURE RED-FIGURE OENOCHOE (CHOUS) WITH THREE-LOBED MOUTH FROM THE ANTHESTERIAS
The body features a young child at play. Behind him, a piece of furniture. On the ground, an oenochoe. During the anthesteria festival, in honor of Dionysus, children were allowed to drink wine from these small vessels, made especially for them and decorated with childlike themes.
