Styria (?), 1st half of the 17th century Descent from the Cross. Pen and black ink, gray wash, edged with black pen, on laid paper, signed "Gabrie..." in the lower right margin, numbered "No 497" by a later hand on the verso. 26 x 19.1 cm. Depiction closed in a round arch at the top and with drawn-in corners. Trimmed just above the framing line on the left and right, lower right corner missing, small marginal losses carefully restored.
