Personal Kim Bài of the Emperor of Annam. Exceptional gold plate adorned with a very rich gold filigree decoration in three registers, each separated by a row of pearls, Chinese keys on the outside, two dragons facing each other in the clouds, around a flaming star, set with ten old-cut diamonds of a total gross weight of six carats, in the center, pearl-set sinograms on a burnished gold background, on the obverse, the formula proper to the sovereign of AnnamTHAI BÌNH THIÊN TỨ meaning "Peace and prosperity to the Son of Heaven", on the reverse BẢO ĐẠI. The Tam-son adorned with a frontal dragon head, suspended by a gold filigree imitating the traditional silk cord surmounted by two filigree gold beads and a ring.

The only imperial badge of its kind, this historic coin was created for Emperor Khải Định (1916-1925), who wore it on his official photos. On the accession of his son Bảo Đại in 1925, the cartouche on the reverse was modified to include the name of the new era.
