A complete copy of this important atlas devoted to the history of Paris and its transformations over the centuries. Published under the direction of Baron Haussmann, only 400 copies were printed. Born of the idea that this atlas should feature at the 1878 Universal Exhibition, the project was supported by Hochereau (curator of the Paris plan), Fauvre (chief surveyor), Cousin (city librarian), Tisserand (principal inspector of the historical service) and Viollet-Le-Duc.
