Francis Ford Coppola, of The Godfather film series fame, directed 1992's Bram Stoker's Dracula, a vampire horror film based on the 1897 novel of the same name. It stars Gary Oldman as the title character, Winona Ryder as Mina Harker, Anthony Hopkins as Van Helsing, and Keanu Reeves as Jonathan Harker. The film grossed about $216 million and was nominated for four Academy Awards, winning three: Best Costume Design, Best Sound Editing, and Best Makeup.
