BIG BOSS First Release British Quad (30" x 40") Very Fine+ Folded Cathay Films, 1973 This is a very scarce British Quad for the film's first release in the UK. After Lee's untimely death in 1973, his films were reissued numerous times, and that paper is more common. This British quad is folded four times, resulting in several fold lines. Additionally, there is slight crimping along the bottom third of the poster. The Big Boss is a 1971 action/crime film from Hong Kong directed by Lo Wei and Wu Chia Hsiang and stars Bruce Lee and Maria Ye. A factory employee swears to an oath of non-violence and becomes a vigilante when he discovers secret criminal operations. This lot will be auctioned on Friday, April 19th.
