It stars Jim Brown, Raquel Welch, and Burt Reynolds. The film, based on a 1968 novel called The Californio by Robert MacLeod, chronicles a Yaqui revolutionary who steals money to buy arms to protect his people and finds himself the target of a manhunt by an American lawman as well as the Mexican Army.
