JAQUES FALLERY No. 2043 Mid 18th century Silver alarm watch with double case. Inner case with chased and openworked caseband, two winding squares on the back M (Movement) and R (Alarm). Smooth outer case. Silvered dial with Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals for the minutes, central setting disc for the alarm function, railway timer. Mechanical movement with key winding, verge escapement, chased and pierced cock, spiral balance, fusee and chain, setting disc, striking function on gong, signature on plate. A mid-18th-century protective case with a period paper label is included.
