Via Cimarosa al Vomero oil on canvas cm 50x40 - He made his debut as a musician at a very young age and in 1914 he moved to Naples to enroll at the Royal Institute of Fine Arts, where his teachers included Michele Cammarano, Vincenzo Volpe and Paolo Vetri. Striccoli's production, starting from his first works in the first twenty years of the twentieth century, fully represents the fervent and dynamic artistic atmosphere in Naples and the South in the early years of the last century. He was a profound connoisseur of the Neapolitan artistic tradition but at the same time sensitive to the call of modernity
