Important lot of 13 late 19th - early 20th century photographs: - - 10 of these feature Alexandra of Denmark (1844-1925), including 2 postcards by W. & D. Downey with handwritten greetings signed by Princess Alexandra and her dog for one, and 1 cabinet format on albumen paper with her autograph signature, made by Bergamasco. 3 CDV format, the others cabinet format. - 2 prints feature the future Edward VII and his wife Alexandra of Denmark in 1863, the year of their marriage, one with the handwritten caption England's hope! Denmark's Rose! by F. Deron, the other is late. CDV format and cabinet. - the last print mounted on cardboard shows Edward VII with his grandchildren Princes Edward, Albert and Harry and Princess Mary in the autumn of 1902, by James Edward Ellam.
