Flowers and grasses
Rare silver and vermeil-mounted flask, complete with base sleeve forming a beaker. The decoration is partly acid-etched and gold-rubbed, partly with polychrome enamel and partly with gold leaf broken into inclusions. The goblet-shaped base sleeve, collar and stopper are in silver with repoussé floral motifs, the neck surround in vermeil. Circa 1895-1900. Missing glass counter-stopper. Signed GALLÉ Nancy and marked Déposé G.G., in engraving on the glass part, twice bearing the hallmarks of Maître Orfèvre (M. V.) and de garantie on the silver parts. H.15cm
