Rare "Belle époque" oval PENDANT and chain in platinum (min. 800‰), openwork with foliate and bow motifs, set with navette-cut, old-cut and rose-cut diamonds, surrounded by small pearls (untested). Trace of soldering on the ring holding the bélière.
Circa 1900-1910.

Georges MAUBOUSSIN succeeded his uncle Batiste NOURY on the latter's death in 1898. The company was first named "Mauboussin & Bouffandeau", then "Mauboussin" from 1904.
