A skilfully rebacked copy in a full red long-grained morocco binding decorated on the boards with a gilt roulette framed with 4 tulips at the corners and a pomegranate in the center, partially mosaiced in green morocco, ornate smooth spine, reinforced corners and clasps; all in silver, gilt edges. Minor traces of handling (a few small marginal tears); good ex. 2-Collective Office divin à l'usage de Rome pour les dimanches et les fêtes de l'année. Lille, Vanackere fils, 1829, 1 vol in-12 decorated with a frontispiece and a hors-texte plate. Bound in full romantic fawn morocco with gilt roulette framing the boards, smooth ornate spine, gilt edges. Decorated with reinforced corners, a clasp and a magnificent square chased plate on the first cover, all in brass. Slight rubbing, but a fine copy with a set of period silk bookmarks.
