Pedestal table
In porcelain and patinated bronze, consisting of a vase and a large basin, decorated with a fantastic bird, flowers, foliage and branches, mounted on a base with three qilins.
C.1880.
This elegant pedestal table, with its Far Eastern decor, belongs to the Japanese-Sinese style in vogue since the 1870s.

MARNYHAC, trade name of the Société des Marbres et Bronzes Artistiques de Paris, headed by Charles de Marnyhac and located in Paris at the end of the 19th century, on avenue de l'Opéra, then rue de la Paix. Specializing in luxury objects, it closed its doors around 1910.
