LIVING-ROOM FURNITURE In molded, carved and cream lacquered wood, comprising two chairs, four armchairs and a sofa. The straight backs are topped with pine cones, pearl stripes, fleurons and ivy leaves. The openwork backs of the chairs are decorated with lyres and friezes of interlacing, ending in eagles' heads, surmounting a leafy spacer. The backs of the armchairs and the sofa are in fluted, foliate, open columns, the armrests in leafy torso balusters. The belt, also decorated with foliage and knotted ribbons, is encircled by fleurons. The ensemble rests on a tapered base with a torso flute topped with foliage. Aubusson tapestry upholstery, decorated with 18th-century figures in floral reserves on the backs and various animals on the seats. First half of the 19th century. Chairs.
