Important lot of over 90 enameled porcelain fantan or pee hong tokens. Various sizes and designs, most with the inscription 錢 "Qian" or literally "silver" on the reverse.

This type of porcelain token was formerly used in Siam for the game of fantan. Mainly played in the hongs run by Chinese tenants, the tokens were gradually used as currency before this use was definitively prohibited by the king following the official introduction of coinage in the country. However, pee hong continued to be used clandestinely until the 20th century.
