Egyptian meteorite Gebel KamiLength : 4.5 cm. Weight: 59 g. Nickel-rich ataxite. The first impact crater discovered in Egypt, February 19, 2009. East Uweinat Desert. Diameter: 45 m. Total mass: 1,600 kg. Fall dated to around 5,000 years ago. For the ancient Egyptians, probably the mythical "Bi-A-n-Pt", "iron fallen from the sky". Meteoric iron has been identified on the blade of a dagger from the Tutankhamen treasure. Length: 4.5 cm. Weight: 59 g.
