Replica of the goblet known as the Anne d'Autriche goblet (1601-1666) in the Musée du Louvre, Paris. This goblet is shaped like a tulip standing on a narrow foot. It is decorated with fifteen twisted gadroons separated by ribs. Each gadroon is engraved with foliage scrolls embellished with a variety of identifiable flowers. These include tulips, sunflowers, violets and narcissus. The base is adorned with a frieze of acanthus leaves. This highly realistic decoration is emblematic of the 1650-1660 period.
