FROMENT-MEURICE Circa 1850 Transformation cuff bracelet in 750°/°° yellow gold, composed of six articulated rectangular links engraved with black enameled crosses, alternating with bars set with rows of half-pearls. The three central links are decorated with applied flowers set with faceted oval-cut natural rubies and surrounded by claw-set diamond-cut roses, while the borders are engraved with geometric friezes decorated with stylized leaves. Weight of rubies: approx. 0.80 carat each. Ratchet clasp and safety chain. Length: 18.5 cm - Width: 3 cm. The central foral motif is detached from the bracelet by a rod to fit a brooch system that fits into a compartment on the back of the case. Gross weight of bracelet: 69.3 g and brooch: 1.8 g (missing enamel) Poinçon de Maître: Philibert - Honoré AUDOUARD (date of inscription: May 6, 1844) He participated in the creation of the pendant 'La toilette de Vénus' mentioned on p124 TII "La bijouterie Française au XIXe siècle.
