Manuscript in-4° of 396 pages written very legibly in XVIII°, marbled calf, ornate spine, gilded fleurs-de-lis on the corners of the boards (period binding). In 1689, the chancellor was only 21 years old. This copy deals with customs, their effects and rules. It covers the customs of Lyon, Valence, the Briançon warehouse, the Savoy and Dauphiné valleys, the Vitrolles valley, etc... Binding rubbed with major loss to second plate, hinges open.
