EASTERN IRAN, NISHAPOUR, 10th century Truncated cone-shaped clay ceramic bowl decorated with brown and red slip over beige slip and under colorless glaze, decorated with a long frieze inscribed in kufic script with a word repeated several times, over a third of the wall along the rim, and three dots in the center.
