Passepartout. - Cf.: Th.-B. XII, p. 469/470 Harald Friedrich was the grandson of the painter Caspar David Friedrich. He was first educated by his parents Adolf and Caroline. He later studied in Dresden under Pohle and Pauwels and worked in the studio of A. von Werner. He was a professor in Hanover from 1895.
