Large Spanish silver tureen for Alfonso XIII punched Law 916 by silversmith A. Muñoz first third of the 20th century.
The tureen rests on a base that in turn is placed on a large presentation plate. All the pieces have the Spanish royal coat of arms engraved, the base has it at the bottom, mounted on a Calatrava cross that is engraved independently on the back of the tureen. The King was a member of said order and we assume it was a gift from it to His Majesty. The chiseled decoration is based on rockery, cartouches and vegetal scrolls with an urn-shaped knob.
