Necklace with white and gold ceramic pendants applied with iridescent glass pastilles in shades of green, blue and pink, the chain in gilded metal. Spring clasp.
Length: 40cm.
Ceramist and sculptor Denise GATARD (1908-1991), older sister of Georges JOUVE, trained with Jean DUNAND after graduating from the Ecole Duperré. She created modernist objects and jewelry combining metalwork, ceramics and glassware. One of her necklaces can be seen in the Galerie des Bijoux at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Paris.
