1965 AUSTIN HEALEY 3000 BJ8 MK3 Chassis no. HBJ8L28474 Beautifully restored Collector's grey card In 1963, AUSTIN HEALEY presented the ultimate evolution of its roadster: the 3000 MK III, which was produced until 1968. On the engine side, the all-cast-iron Austin 3-liter block is a model of flexibility, capable of picking up in 3rd gear at 1500 rpm without flinching. Fed by 2 SU carburetors, this big in-line 6 doesn't shy away from revs either, with an absolutely fabulous sound. The model presented here was produced in 1965, then shipped to the USA, as was virtually the entire production run. Acquired in 2013 from a renowned specialist, this beautiful Austin Healey BJ8 is now in good condition. Despite a minor exhaust problem, which has since been rectified, the road test was conclusive. This Austin Healey is now just waiting for a new owner to take to the roads of our beautiful country. 1965 AUSTIN HEALEY 3000 BJ8 MK3 Chassis no.
