after the originals by Pierre Stephan (French, fl.1770-1819),
modelled as two boys and two girls wearing richly enamelled costumes, Spring holding a garland of flowers, Summer carrying a basket of fruit, Autumn with a sheaf of corn, and Winter carrying faggots over his shoulder, raised on circular bases with gilt line rims, two with red printed factory marks and each with incised marks.
