Composed and entirely decorated by François-louis Schmied with color woodcut illustrations on every page: cover, ornaments, lettering, etc. Edition of 110 copies, this being the author's copy printed on strong vellum, with 3 very fine original signed drawings by François-Louis Schmied (2 watercolors and 1 graphite), two of which bear signed autograph dispatches to Monsieur and Madame louis Dupont, as well as 2 signed autograph letters from Schmied to Louis Dupont. A very fine copy. As we have noted on all the copies we have encountered, this one has discharges on a few leaves (here very pale).
