Lenaerts Eric/Les Royaumes de Borée. Original plate #2 from unpublished T2. High-quality action scene reminiscent of Philippe Berthet's style. India ink signed and dated 2004. TBE+. 32 X 42 cm After studying drawing, Eric Lenaerts (1965) spent a brief period at the St Luc comic strip school in Brussels, and then did his military service. He then met scriptwriter Pascal Renard, and together they made their debut with two short stories for 'Jet' magazine. His first album, "Sur des Eaux troubles", appeared in 1995, and in 1997 he published the first opus of "Valcourt", a two-volume saga. In 2001, he published the first volume of "Romantiques" (3 volumes). In September 2001, Soleil published the single volume of "Royaumes de Borée", with Dominique Latil on the script. In 2004, Lenaerts joined forces with Taymans, with whom he published Requiem, the first volume of "La Fugitive", in the "Ligne Rouge" collection for Casterman. He then took his first steps in the "Jacques Martin" collection with Les Vikings (2006), and Cléopâtre (2008). Today, with Gihef at the script, Lenaerts makes a remarkable entry in the "Repérages" collection from Éditions Dupuis with "Mister Hollywood", a series that revisits Hollywood myths, in which he explodes with talent in a realistic drawing close to that of Berthet.
