Pierre Bailly (1970) is a Belgian cartoonist who began his career with Denis Lapière in a competition organized by the Liège FNAC, who asked him to illustrate "L'Anguille crue", the prelude to "La Saison des Anguilles". With him, he illustrated "La baleine de Gaana" and "Agadamgorodok".
The two teamed up with Vincent Mathy to create the "Ludo" series in Spirou. Pierre Bailly's personal taste led him to create smiling content for children. He illustrates novels and stories for young people. With his partner Céline Fraipont, he brought to life Petit Poilu, a silent comic (and animated series) for toddlers that has been a great success since 2007.
