Edgar DEGAS (d'après) - La chambre au miroir - - Original etching (etching and aquatint) after a monotype - On Rives wove paper 25 x 32 cm - - INFORMATIONS: Around 1880, Degas began a series of monotypes inspired by Parisian brothels. These works remained in his personal collection and were bought in the early 1920s by Ambroise Vollard (the famous dealer for Picasso, Cézanne, Renoir and Georges Rouault). He entrusted them to Maurice Potin, who set them on copper and printed them.
