1958 PEUGEOT Type 176 AD N° 316345 175 cm3 Collector's registration 1 500 / 2 000 € The 1958 range marks the dynamism of Peugeot-Cycles/Valentigney during this decade, with the presentation at the end of 1957 of its new 50cc range, the "BB", a new scooter, the S57C / 125cc (S157C in 150cc), and a new medium-displacement motorcycle: the 350cc. What was new in the 125cc and 175cc range compared with 1954 were versions equipped with "oscillating" rear suspension ("pendulum" in Peugeot's vocabulary), so with the same "look" as the new 250cc and 350cc models. There were also two 175cc models with the same new frame: the 176 TB and 176 TC4 (the 176AD was the 175cc with the old frame). This 175cc had had its moment of glory by winning its class at the 1952 Bol d'Or, and a "mass-market" version of this machine, the 176GS, was marketed from late 1953 to 1957. We recommend that future purchasers carry out the usual restarts required to keep these machines in the collector's museum. We recommend that future purchasers carry out the customary restarts required by the immobilization of these machines in the collector's museum. 1958 PEUGEOT Type 176 AD N° 316345 175 cm3 Collector's registration 1 500 / 2 000 € The 1958 range marks the dynamism of Peugeot-Cycles/Valentigney during this decade, with the presentation at the end of 1957 of its new 50cc range, the "BB", a new scooter the S57C / 125cc (S157C in 150cc), and a new medium-displacement motorcycle: the 350cc.
