TENDIL Tendilet 50 cm3 6,930 € invoices To be registered as a collection 400 / 800 € In 1919, in Alès in the Gard region of France, a miner by the name of Elie Tendil decided to open a business selling bicycles, becoming a distributor for Automoto cycles. He soon moved into assembly, using the services of the many parts wholesalers based in the Saint-Etienne region. The Tendil trademark was immediately registered. Soon, some 20,000 bicycles were produced and distributed throughout the south of France. At the end of the 1920s, the brand assembled a number of 250 and 350 cm3 motorcycles with engines. In 1951, the brand brought out its first moped, a 50 powered by the VAP 4 engine, the Tendilet. The model presented here has been fully restored for around €6,930 (invoices).
