Italian cello from the 18th century.754 mm, bearing a partially torn label from Testore in Milan, restored by Luc Breton in 2001, from which it bears the labelCertificate from W.J Maechler in Riggisberg from 1982 attributing the cello to Paolo Antonio Testore (1690-1765) Musical instruments Experts for the Quartet Instruments: Mr. Roland Baumgartner, expert and honorary member of the Entente Internationale des Maîtres Luthiers et Archetiers d'Art (EILA). Experts for Bows: Mr. Pierre Guillaume, expert at the Brussels Public Prosecutor's Office and member of the Entente Maîtres Luthiers et Archetiers d'Art (EILA). The violins, cellos and violas in this catalog were examined by Mr. Roland Baumgartner. The bows have been examined by Mr. Pierre Guillaume. Our experts certify the adequacy of the descriptions with the instruments and bows presented, and will issue a certificate at the buyer's request for all items sold for more than CHF3000. Below this amount, certificates will be invoiced to the buyer for a minimum of CHF800.
