18th c. Italian violin of the Florence school bearing the Carcassi brothers label, 353 mm, with a certificate by Etienne Vatelot of September 1976 and by Charles Enel of 1953, gilded yellow varnish. Head probably by another hand, but from the same period. Dendrochronology was carried out by Peter Ratcliff (England), confirming a wood date of 1746.

Our experts certify the adequacy of the descriptions with the instruments and bows presented, and will issue a certificate at the buyer's request for all items sold for more than CHF3000. Below this amount, certificates will be invoiced to the buyer for a minimum of CHF800.
