Satsuma-glazed earthenware incense burner, square form with two rectangular handles on the sides, both sides decorated with figures of young girls on one side and samurai on the other, on a midnight-blue background with flowers, spirals and golden bees' nests, the lid openworked in blue and gold, the animal-shaped grip, mark faded on the base.
