Terraces, China, late 19th century Asymmetrical fan, the double silk leaf painted on both sides with 50 figures whose heads are in relief and whose silk garments are in relief, in a setting of terraces and palaces. Mounted in sandalwood, it is engraved with garden scenes. Plumes carved with figures amid palaces and bamboo gardens. Metal clasp. H.t. 41 cm-H.f. 28 cm (accidents, missing parts, restorations)
