This work is a declaration of love by Ali Silem to Nedjma, the heroine of the poet Kateb Yacine. It was exhibited at Riad el Feth, a cultural center in Algiers, in July 1986, the thirtieth anniversary of the publication of Nedjma, a major work by Kateb Yacine, who attended the opening and the symposium devoted to it.
