One volume in 2 vols. small in-12 contemporary brown calf, spine ribbed and ornamented, speckled edges (beginning of split at spine ends, ex. short upper margin). Volume II of this very rare first complete collective edition (the 1644 edition contained only 8 pieces). It contains Corneille's principal plays: Le Cid, Horace, Cinna, Polyeucte, Pompée, le Menteur, la Suite du Menteur and at the end Rodogune (for the latter, the frontispiece, title and 4 dedication pages are missing) and Heraclius of 1647, each with its own pagination.
