Rare blue-white porcelain plate decorated with Hué blue, depicting in perpendicular perspective a lakeside landscape animated by a boatman and his sampan. Metal-rimmed lip. Mark under the four-character base flanked by a calligraphic poem 春风吹散梨花两正是漫翁得意時 composed by the commissioner and translating as "The spring breeze carries away the pear blossoms, that's when Man Weng is happy". Old collector's labels on the back mention the famous Vuong Hông Sên collection (1902-1996).
