A Hué blue-white porcelain dish decorated with a lacustrine landscape animated by a scholar and his servant, the lip encircled with metal. Marked with a rare calligraphic poem inspired by the text "Journey to the Mountain" by Du Mu 杜牧 (803-852), famous Chinese poet of the Tang dynasty: "I stopped the carriage because I loved the night view of the maple forest in late autumn. The maple leaves, stained by the autumn frost, were more beautiful than the spring flowers in February" 停車坐爱枫林晚霜葉扣於二月花玉機圖. China for Vietnam, first half of the 19th century. Diameter: 16.5 cm.
