Suite of four cabriole-back armchairs in molded, carved, relacquered and gilded beech. The armrests are cuffed, the supports cavet-shaped, and the waistband arched at the front, resting on tapered, ringed and fluted legs. Covered in red velvet decorated with leafy stems. Paris. Louis XVI period.
Dimensions: 92 x 54 x 45 cm. Accident under the seat of one of the chairs. Restorations. Reversals to the lacquered decoration. Later gilding.
