The town of Saint-Pierre (MARTINIQUE), in collaboration with the DEPAZ distillery, celebrates the rebuilding of the town destroyed by the eruption of Montagne Pelée on May 8, 1902. With unprecedented courage and strength, Saint-Pierre recovered in 1923 from this catastrophe, which claimed some 30,000 lives and left its mark on the whole of Martinique and the surrounding region. The special 400-copy cuvée is dedicated to the sale of the first 100 bottles, numbered from 1 to 100. This selection is the result of an unprecedented blending technique: a sampling of 100 barrels for 100 years of commemoration.
