Veneered lady's writing desk opening with a drawer, a flap and two leaves. It features a décor of foliage and flowers on satin-finish backgrounds, surrounded by frieze of violet wood. The green leather-covered flap reveals three compartments and six drawers. Chased and gilded bronze trim: lock escutcheons, apron, applied sabots. Royal red marble top molded with a corbin.
Paris. Louis XV period, circa 1750.

Bearing the Dubois stamp and the Jurande hallmark.
