Large architectural jewelry box in gold-ground tortoiseshell and ebony veneer.
The lid is adorned with a balustrade and crown. The interior is painted in imitation tortoiseshell with a gilded background.
The central body features eight panels bordered by moldings and framed by columns with Tuscan capitals and bases, surmounted by fire pots.
. The ensemble rests on a molded base opening with two secret drawers, supported by sixteen small feet.
Gilded bronze trim: crown, balustrade, fire pots and ball feet.
