Incense shuttle in champlevé enamel, enameled, engraved and gilded, light blue, medium blue, dark blue, turquoise blue, white, red, green and yellow enamels. Bipartite lid, one part fixed, the other hinged, both with curved grips at the ends ending in a bird's head (one broken); large rosette decoration centered on an openwork cabochon representing a basilisk with its head turned upside down and biting its wing; rosettes and diamond motifs in the spandrels; body highlighted with a frieze of foliage on a blue enamel background.
