This work was acquired directly by the current owner, a close friend of the artist, from the Estate of Hans Hartung.
A letter from the legal administrator of the Estate of Hans Hartung dated June 8, 1990, attests to this.
A certificate of authenticity drawn up by the legal administrator of the Estate of Mr Hans Hartung dated June 08, 1990 will be given to the purchaser, certifying that the painting is listed in the "Catalogue des Œuvres" of Mr Hans Hartung.
The inclusion of the work in the catalog raisonné of the works of Hans Hartung has been confirmed by the Hartung-Bergman Foundation.
