Length: 53 cm (Mineralized, treated) The steppe bison (Bison priscus) is a fossil species of large, long-horned bison that lived in Eurasia during the Pleistocene, from 900,000 BC to 1100 BC. It is these bison that are represented in cave art such as at Chauvet or Lascaux.
